From Bridie’s warm welcome once you step inside the door, EJ and Donnachadh serving drinks and banter at the bar and Mike, the master in the kitchen, The Point has a well-deserved reputation (and plenty of awards) for great service and food. The menu is firmly focussed on fish and seafood, a wine list to suit as well as some of Ireland’s best craft beers. Expect to wait for a table at busy times but what better excuse would you need to while away an evening looking out over Valentia Island with a cold drink in hand and the sun setting in the West beyond the Lighthouse?
